JOB TITLE: Senior Book keeper

SALARY & BENEFITS:£30,000-33,000 depending on experience/skills

WORKING HOURS: Full Time

THE COMPANY: Our client is an influential charity that supports schools across the UK in starting, expanding and optimising their breakfast provision with the aim that 'no child is too hungry to learn'. They currently have an opportunity for a Senior Book Keeper to join their committed team.

THE ROLE: This Senior Book Keeper is a key financial role responsible for the effective financial operation of the charity. You will apply your expertise, skills and knowledge to support and maintain the financial operation of the charity. You will administer effective day to day finance functions to maximise internal efficiency. You will provide effective professional and high-level support to the charity.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to work as a Senior Book keeper in an influential charity that supports schools in starting, expanding and optimising their breakfast provision with the aim that no child is too hungry to learn.

You will work independently and will have the opportunity to make this role your own. There is also the potential for flexibility to work form home on occasion if required.

In this instrumental role, you will administer effective day to day finance functions to maximise
internal efficiency. You will lead on financial administration, manage bank transactions, engage in
regular reconciliation's and will prepare VAT returns. You will be proficient in quick books and able to input and gather data to prepare financial reports and cash flows.

The role will be based in Central London where you will work from the Charities Bank Office with occasion travel to the head office in Holborn.

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Senior Book Keeper role will have book keeping or accountant experience. You will have excellent numerical, administrative, organizational and planning skills. You will thrive on providing accurate data, paying attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Key experience essential for the role:
• Happy to commute to Central London (Bank and Holborn)
• Book keeping or accountant experience is essential
• Financial related qualifications not essential but advantageous
