This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and expanding company. We’re looking for an experienced, motivated and driven team player to work in the Scan Managed Business Accounts division, selling a wide range of IT products to existing clients as well as generate new business.

General;

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 with 1 hour for lunch

Location: Scan Computers International Ltd, Enterprise Park, Middlebrook, Horwich

Key Responsibilities;

  • Responsible for maintaining, strengthening and growing both current and new client relationships within your assigned sectors
  • Manage a portfolio of diverse clients including pricing, stock availability and business optimization to achieve long term success
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing clients by up-selling and cross-selling
  • Satisfy customers’ needs and requests, responding to queries within a timely manner to deliver a positive customer experience
  • Establish budgets to build proposals and quotes
  • Have an understanding of the daily operation and keep clients updated
  • Occasional cold calling
  • Meet customer, team and company deadlines
  • Increase product knowledge through personal research and ongoing internal training
  • Manage and enforce best practice account management discipline

Skills and Experience;

  • Experience in building and developing a diverse client base, selling IT or IT related products
  • Must be comfortable interacting and engaging with high value customers
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify opportunities and grow revenues
  • Proactive, energetic and solution focused with an interest in the IT and Technology Industry
  • High quality and professional communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong prospecting ability
  • Business acumen with a problem solving attitude
  • Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
