Are you looking for a fulfilling role in care, working regularly with customers and helping them stay independent, in their own homes?

We are looking for care and support workers, with or without care experience, in and around the Huddersfield area. Morning calls start approximately 6am till 11am, lunch calls start approximately 11.30am till 2.30pm,tea calls start approximately 3pm till 5.30pm and bed calls start approximately 6.30pm till 11pm. All full time carers work all 4 shifts. We also have part-time work, to cover the tea and bed calls and all our carers work alternative weekends.

Please be aware that Huddersfield is a large area, a car is essential and you may be working across different postcodes on each. We pay work mileage at 25p/mile, to help with this.

We’ll train and support you, so you can confidently deliver a great service. You’ll develop a bond with your customers, which will help you to assist them with tasks and keep an eye on their health and well-being. You will need to be a driver with access to a car, to travel between customers. We welcome existing or friends double up teams, for our two-handed care worker customers.

You’ll be helping your customers with personal care, such as;

Getting up and ready for the dayWashingDressingBathingToiletingGetting ready for bedAnd practical tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, tidying, meal preparation and cooking, doctor’s appointments and shopping.

Carewatch support all of our staff in their ability to excel and achieve and are always looking for Care Workers who want to progress further in the future.

This role is subject to a DBS check and you will need to provide proof of a full UK driving licence and your right to reside and work in the UK.
