We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Receptionist to work for a large organisation in the Witton area of Birmingham. Working 28 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 1.00pm, Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm. ( the successful candidate must be flexible to cover full time to cover holidays etc).
Salary £18,000 prorata (Circa £9.25 per hour)

The Receptionist will play a critical role within the business. The attitude and approach of the Receptionist creates the vital first impression that external customers gain of our client and the company's professionalism when they visit in person or contact the client via the switchboard.

The Receptionist will act professionally at all times, speaks clearly, articulately and efficiently and communicates in the appropriate way with a variety of individuals from the office cleaner to the CEO of a multinational business.

A vital part of the Business Support team, the Receptionist will:

* Greets guests to the organisation in a friendly, courteous manner
* Makes visitors feel welcome and valued
* Keeps the reception area tidy and attractive to visitors
* Operates the switchboard efficiently and effectively
* Authorises meeting room bookings through intranet system and deal with buffet orders
* Orders office and cleaning supplies. drink machines stock, so they are available when required but not over-stocked
* Books travel and accommodation as required, for example trains, hotels, flights (Europe) and hire cars
* Any other ad hoc admin duties
