Room Leader - Stirling

This is a permanent position

Our client is looking for an experienced Room Leader to join their beautiful nursery located in Stirling

They have been involved in childcare for nearly 20 years, they have expanded into other sites Falkirk, Govan and Hillington and their Brand New Alloa Nursery. They have worked with over 500 families using their facilities.

Job role: Room Leader Salary: £8.25 per hour (may be higher for the right candidate) Hours: minimum 30 but up to 38 per week.

Job Description:

  • To assume full responsibility for the day to day running of the butterfly room with children aged 18-30 months
  • Supervise staff daily, maintain staff duty rotas, ensuring recommended ratios are maintained in light of any agreed annual leave, sickness etc.
  • Ensure that all official paperwork is completed and delivered on time.
  • Prepare and maintain set standards for any impending Care Inspectorate, Health and Safety Audit, and Health and Hygiene inspections.
  • To develop a good working partnership with other professionals
  • Ensure a good partnership is maintained with the centre staff and committee.
  • Developing, implementing and evaluating policies and procedures to ensure the room runs within current legislation and guidelines, updating own knowledge as required.
  • Liaising with the parents over the care of their children, meeting new parents. Ensure waiting lists, placement offers, and registration procedures are handled correctly,
  • Actively participating in the care of children.

What you need:

  • You should have good staff management skills and have a good understanding of children's needs and of the EYFS.
  • You should be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
  • NVQ level 3 - minimum

Level 3 Practitioner - Alloa and Stirling

This is a permanent position

Our client is looking for a qualified Level 3 Practitioners to join their wonderful nurseries located in Alloa and Stirling.

Job role: Level 3 Practitioner Salary: £7.50 per hour Hours: minimum 30 hours per week but up to 38 per week

Job description:

  • To be responsible for the development of and to provide interesting learning opportunities following the EYFS.
  • To monitor and assess children's progress, ensuring correct records are maintained.
  • To ensure the expected high standards of child care are upheld always
  • To demonstrate your commitment to safeguarding the children and young people within your work.
  • To be an experienced key person

What you need:

  • Have a genuine passion for high quality care, education and outdoor learning
  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ Childcare.
  • Punctuality, Patience, Reliability and Trustworthiness.

Apprentice- Stirling and Alloa

This is a permanent position!!!

Our client is looking for an apprentice to join their lovely nurseries located in Stirling and Alloa.

This is a permanent role based on 30 hours per week

The salary will be in line with the Government Apprentice wage which is £3.50

All candidates must be committed and hardworking in order to achieve the relevant qualifications.

You must have passion, drive and enthusiasm for childcare and education, excellent team skills and communication, a professional attitude and a willingness to learn and develop skills further.

Out of school staff - Alloa

Our client is looking for out of school staff to also join their BRAND - NEW NURSERY located in Alloa.

The hours for the position will be flexible but part time mostly (2.30-6pm)

Holiday Club will be full days but might still be part time.

You must have passion, drive and enthusiasm for childcare and education, excellent team skills and communication, a professional attitude and a willingness to learn and develop skills further.
