Part time Receptionist (12 months Fixed Term Contract for the purpose of Maternity Cover)
Head Office, Newbury

We are looking for a part time Receptionist to provide excellent internal and external customer service.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

Welcoming and personally greeting visitors to Head Office
Following all procedures for sign in, security and health and safety of visitors
Answering and directing all incoming telephone calls in a professional manner
Providing admin support to the Customer Support Department
Compliance, in line with regulatory requirements, Codes of Practice and Society procedures

Essential criteria for the role are:

Customer service experience face to face and/or by telephone
Experience of resolving telephone queries, and following up calls
Basic administration ability
Able to communicate clearly and concisely
Self-motivated and able to prioritise work to meet service standards
Accuracy & attention to detail
Enthusiastic, positive & cheerful
Takes initiative and makes suggestions for improvements
Supportive of others in a team
GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English grade C or above

Desirable criteria for the role are:

Experience in a similar role

Hours: 15 hours per week: Monday 9am – 5pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 9am – 1pm

Salary: Starting salary is £6,904 rising to £7,672 once fully competent, plus benefits
