We're seeking to appoint an experienced IT Trainer/Assessor who can deliver Apprenticeships up to & including the Level 4 frameworks. The role involves assessing learners against QCF criteria and delivering workshops based around IT QCF qualifications as well as delivering Essential Skills qualifications.

A strong occupational background in is required for this position, as well as being a time-served, qualified Assessor ideally with substantial tenures at previous employers. The applicant must also be an adapt user of Microsoft Office and Windows packages and must hold a Full UK driving license.

We're looking for someone who ideally has delivery experience within areas such as Software Development & Cyber Security. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational qualities, strong communication skills, and great attention to detail.

Type: Full Time, Permanent.


You will be involved in all aspects of the IT Apprenticeship delivery including the carrying out of assessments and also liaising with employers, and staff to maximise IT Apprenticeship framework completions.

Qualifications and Competencies Required:

Assessor Qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32 / D33 or equivalent)

Relevant IT qualification (level 3 or higher) Candidate will ideally hold a V1 qualification & an IAG level 3 qualification, although these are beneficial and by no means essential.

Previous experience delivering Level 3 and ideally Level 4 and Professional IT Apprenticeships
Previous industry experience in IT in a technical role
Previous experience delivering Vendor qualifications and technical certificates including CISCO, CCNA, CompTIA desirable but not essential.


35 hours per week. Monday-Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm or 10am to 6pm.


Competitive (Dependent on Skills, qualifications and experience) - Pro rata if working part time hours.
