Our client based in Chilcompton are looking for a Part- Time Costing Administrator to join their busy Costing Department.

Do you come from a retail/merchandising/purchasing background? Are you comfortable with all aspects of working within an Excel spreadsheet?

Your main duty will be to break down every aspect of the product to calculate the cost of the item by using their inhouse system. You ideally come from a retail/merchandising/purchasing background.

Duties and responsibilities:
* Liaise with Pre-Production/Development Team on any BOM/PD queries
* Liaise with Costing Engineer to ensure all required internal costings are completed on time and are accurate
* Check/analyse external supplier BOMs for accuracy and query anomalies
* Ad hoc queries with raw material pricing
* Help create and maintain costings for special requests & off price
* Input/manage allocations on PD system
* Support the Costing Department as required to achieve overall objectives

Skills and knowledge:
* Retail/merchandising/purchasing background
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a high level of numeracy and PC literacy
* Good organisational skills and can work to strict deadlines
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the business
* Team player

Rate of Pay: £10.25 p/h

Hours: can be either 2 days per week 9am - 5pm or spread over 3 days

This is a part time temporary role but for the right candidate could be temp to perm. In order to be considered you will have to be available immediately.
