Sellick Partnership are exclusively recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join a reputable Solicitors firm based in Nottinghamshire. This is a permanent full time vacancy, however part time applicants will also be considered.
This position would suit someone with a bookkeeping or AAT qualification, who either has experience working within a solicitors or is looking to gain legal experience. The company is looking for the successful applicant to join the small and friendly team in March/April 2018.
Key Responsibilities of the Legal cashier:
- Bank reconciliations
- Process bank transfers
- Administer and reconcile petty cash
- Preparation of cheques
- Cash postings
- To undertake conveyancing transactions/completions
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties that may be required
- Production of spreadsheets
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Knowledge of case management systems
- Bookkeeping or AAT qualification
- Positive and friendly manner
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Good excel skills
- Proven experience as a legal cashier
Part time candidates will also be considered for this vacancy.
