This firm are currently experiencing considerable growth and are therefore looking to recruit a number of heads at various levels in Tax.
Your new role
As a corporate tax assistant manager within this existing team in Macclesfield, you will be responsible for supporting the tax partner in providing advisory services to a variety of high turnover clients. Initially, you may take accountability for the associated compliance for these clients, only later to develop into a more reviewing and advisory focused role. This position will involve a considerable amount of client liaison and relationship building via email, telephone and face to face. The ideal candidate will also be able to spot new business opportunities and bring new work into the practice, as well as cross selling between departments.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this corporate tax job, you will have experience of managing your own portfolio of corporate tax clients from within a reputable practice and advising them on tax matters, or, currently be operating as an ambitious general practitioner looking to get into tax. The ideal candidate will be studying towards, or qualified CTA/ACCA/ACA. This role requires someone that is driven, proactive and possesses excellent communication skills.
