We are looking for Care Assistants & Companions in Egham, Staines, Virginia Water, Chertsey, Addlestone, Windsor and surrounding areas who want to work alongside our client, an award-winning homecare provider.

They are a CQC ‘Outstanding’ rated provider transforming the lives of older people and keeping them living the life they want in the home they love.

This is a part-time role perfect for someone who wants to use some hours in the week to give back to the community. There’s an epidemic of loneliness in the UK and you could use your skills and background to help change an individual’s life.

If you want to use your natural empathy and kindness to help, then our client will match you with an older person who needs a helping hand. As their Care Assistant & Companion you’ll be a ray of warmth and comfort and help with many things including:

  • Keeping an eye on the client’s mental and physical wellbeing to give their family peace-of-mind;
  • Listening to clients- some days you’ll be the only friendly face they see;
  • Helping around the house so it continues to feel like home;
  • Reminding clients about appointments or when to take their medication;
  • Taking clients out and about;
  • Helping with some aspects of personal care such as brushing their teeth or hair;
  • Cooking them a good, healthy meal.
No two days are the same, but then again, neither are people.

Our client knows that just as your job will be to look after the older people out in the community, their job is to look after you. In return for your hard work you will get wonderful perks including:

  • £10.00 -£12.50 per hour;
  • Guaranteed hours contracts, 15-30 hours per week;
  • Brilliant in-house training and support;
  • Lots of opportunity to progress your career;
  • And a wonderful network of support so you feel happy in your role.
It is essential that you have a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle.

Our client believes in the people they hire and know they’re a place where long-term care providers can flourish and grow. They welcome new people too, they want people with a good heart who want to use an hour of their time to change things.

If you’re excited about this Care Assistant & Companion job, then we want to hear from you- just click “apply” and send us through your CV.
