Fantastic Learning disabilities service currently seeking 3 support workers Male and Female to join a prestigious care company supporting adults with Learning disabilities and autism.

These roles are based in the Nottingham and Derbyshire area and are caring after individuals with very challenging behaviour in the care homes and private LD homes.

We have two different contracts part time and full time. Sleep in's and waking nights will be involved in this job, so you must be flexible and open to doing this.

As these residents are more challenging than some others it is important that you have previous experience working with LD or EBD.

Your job will be to work as a team with other support workers to make sure the residents are happy and living their best life. It is such a rewarding job to have and you will love working with the large but welcoming team. Everyone in this company is like one big family and everybody supports each other.

You must have strong communication skills so that you and the team always know what is going on within the service.

As you will be supporting these individuals where needs be, this means you will need to drive the residents to different things. You must be a driver and hold a full UK driving license.

Things we are looking for in our candidate as a person is:

  • a commitment to learning the skills that enable the people we support to control their own lives
  • an understanding that disability is no barrier to someone achieving their dreams
  • real life skills, hobbies and interests and the drive to share these with people
  • to be a positive influence in the lives of people with a disability

If you think your personality fits the above

If you have the drive and ambition to take on a challenge

If you are ready to make a difference...

Then please apply now to find out more. Call Remy on 0116 253 2550 or email your CV
