You will support the men to enjoy various hobbies and activities. To give you an idea of the service, one person we support works at the local charity shop in the village, people attend social groups during the week and go to local restaurants for drinks and meals. Some are supported to take part in community based activities such as attending church on a Sunday and attending local day activity centres.

You will also need to provide support with personal care. Some people may display challenging behaviour but you will receive support from the Frontline Manager and full training in how to help people manage their behaviours.

You can choose between full-time (38 hpw), part-time (various hours) and Relief vacancies for Support Workers at this Registered Care service at Flackwell Heath near High Wycombe.

You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota including days, evenings, weekends (roughly 2 in a month) and bank holidays. Early shift is 7.30 am - 3 pm, Late shift is 2.30 pm - 10 pm.
