Are you looking for a job with a difference? Could you support people with learning disabilities, helping them live on their own terms?



We are looking for Support Workers to work part-time shifts. We could accommodate two people wishing to do 30 hours per week, or four working 15 hours each.





About the role



You will support up to 5 people aged 50 to 67 years old. You will support them with day-to-day domestic tasks such as shopping, cooking etc. You will also ensure they keep up with activities and hobbies they enjoy and getting out and about in the local community, which can include going to the cinema, theatre shows, taking trips on buses and listening/playing music. Personal care would be required.



You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota, including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins. Day shift patterns are 10:00 - 14:00, and evenings are 16:00 - 20:00. There is one sleep-in per week on average.





What we need from you



We welcome people with experience working with vulnerable period. However experience is not essential, as we provide a full induction and free training programme. People join us from many different backgrounds, it's more important to us that you have a positive approach and are willing to learn.



It is essential that you hold a full manual driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK, as you will be required to drive service vehicles.
