Our client is looking for a strong Administrator to work hours per day from Monday – Friday (hours can be flexible for the right person).

You will manage daily business activities and contribute to the day to day running of the organisation. You will be an active part of a small team across all functions; membership, sales, finance, events and marketing.

Requirement and Attributes:
• Must be confident handling enquiries and have a can-do attitude
• Strong literacy, communication and interpersonal skills
• Technically competent with various software programs, such as MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook & the internet
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-moving environment
• Driven, self-motivated, innovative and enthusiastic
• Understanding of accounting practices and/or a membership environment would be beneficial
• Full driving licence desirable

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Receive and direct visitors
• Answer and direct telephone calls
• Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence
• Data entry, updating and cleaning
• Chasing payments, processing refunds and issuing remittance advice
• Account reconciliation and dealing with account queries
• Order stationary and other sundry supplies and maintain stocks
• Run company’s errands to post office and grocery store
• Schedule meetings and take minutes
• Update and maintain office policies and procedures
• Book travel arrangements
• Maintain and reconcile credit card statements
• Manage facilities contracts
• Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
• Coordinate and maintain records for staff, telephones, parking and petty cash

Additional information
• Working hours 5 hours per day Mon-Fri, (some flexibility to suit individual))
• 20 days holiday (pro-rata) plus bank holidays and Christmas closure
