The leading global security and outsourcing group, specialises in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat is seeking a Patrol and Response Officer based in Sunderland to join its expanding team.

As a Patrol and Response Officer you will learn to use the latest technology and processes to help customers maintain a safe and secure working environment for its staff and customers.

Your duties will also include:

- Presenting at all times, a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence at the premises of the clients.
- Conducting shift handover procedures at the start and end of each shift to ensure all matters of concern or note occurring during a shift are passed on for the purposes of service and incident management continuity.
- Writing complete and accurate handover and incident reports and taking appropriate action as required on all reports passed to you at the commencement or during a duty shift.
- Ensuring the safety and security of our clients' buildings and assets by carrying out all duties in full adherence with the Site Assignment Instructions.
- Driving a liveried company vehicle to provide site opening and closing and response to alarms at customer premises in line with the standard operating procedures.

An ideal Patrol and Response Officer will have the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience within a corporate security as a Patrol and Response Officer or customer focused role is desired but not essential.
- A valid front-line SIA License or current certificate of completion of SIA front line training would be desired, however NOT essential as training can be given and assistance with the SIA fee.
- Full UK Driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive a company vehicle on site to do patrols.
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
- Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self- employment or full and part time education during that period.

The shifts will be days / nights / weekends and Bank Holidays - Mainly nights and weekends, 12 hours shifts.

In return you will receive a salary of £8.33 per hour, guaranteed 42 hours per week, free uniform, plus a range benefits including Pension, Healthcare options and 28 days annual leave this includes Bank holidays, plus real opportunities to progress within the world's largest security company.
