Support Worker / Care Worker

We currently have vacancies for Supported Living Workers in our Leeds service, working full or part time shifts on a rota basis.

No experience is required for these roles - life experience and personal values are just as important.

Position: Supported living Workers
Location: Leeds
Hours: Various part-time and full-time - 10 to 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £7.50 - £7.86 per hour (after successful completion of probation and Health and Social Care Diploma/NVQ Level 2)
Benefits: 20 days holiday rising to 25 days after the first year (plus bank holidays), a contributory pension scheme, life assurance, staff rewards, family-friendly policies, discounted pay monthly mobile phone contracts.

About the Role:
As a Support Worker / Care Worker for Hft, you will enable the people we support to lead fulfilling lives based upon their personal support needs.

About You:
No previous experience is required for this role, what is more important is that you have a passion and desire to be part of the social care world, and are enthusiastic about supporting people.

An awareness or knowledge of learning disabilities would be great, however if you have a caring nature, like being around people and can tackle issues with a positive frame of mind, then you are highly encouraged to apply today. This role may involve some intimate personal care.

As we provide 24/7 support you need to be able to work shifts, including weekends, some nights and Bank Holidays. You will also be required to accompany people we support on holidays and attend training courses and other activities.
