Main areas of responsibility are as follows:-.

Sales order processing
===================
Receive sales orders via email (OUTLOOK), fax and telephone and to process using SAGE accounting package.
Process back orders when stock arrives from suppliers.
Complete orders, create despatches to invoice level.
Work with spare parts drawings to identify components

Communication
==============
Answer incoming calls in a professional manner and deal with customers enquiries.
Contact customers and prospects with new FPS special offers.
Update Area Sales Managers with incoming sales and enquiries from customers.
Prepare and send quotations to customers by email or fax.
Contact suppliers to check on progress of purchase orders.
Ensure sales orders are despatched by communicating with warehouse staff on a daily basis.
To liaise with all members of staff to ensure duties are carried out correctly and efficiently.

Warranty Claims Processing
=======================
Process warranty claims and orders
Log warranty claims on the factory computer system
Raise warranty credit notes
Process Warranty Goods Returns
Raise Credit Notes where applicable

Database maintenance
===================
Update our ACCESS database with new customer accounts and changes that may be required from the Area Sales Managers.

Working hours: 8.30-5.00 full time or 8.30-2.30 part time

FPS Air Compressors Limited is a leading supplier of Air Compressors and ancillary equipment in UK, we are looking for a full/part time Sales Order Operator within our Internal Sales team. The ideal applicant will possess some experience in dealing with equipment and spare parts sales and be able to demonstrate high levels of professionalism, good telephone skills, good computer skills and be accurate, tidy and well organised. Ideally the suitable candidate will have gained some experience in a similar role involving Internal sales and sales order processing.
