HR and Payroll Officer – Full or Part Time

The role is an integral position within the friendly HR team and will have responsibility for the end-to-end payroll and benefits process.


·Reporting to the Employee Services Manager

·Processing complete multi company payroll from start to finish for 200 + employees

·Gathering, calculating and inputting data onto payroll system

·Calculation of Pension contributions and other company benefits

·Processing new starters, leavers and absence records

·First point of contact for employee queries and supporting self-service HR system

·Coordinating employee contracts, new start paperwork and on-boarding support

·Supporting with ad hoc projects


·Previous payroll experience and good understanding of the payroll process

·Good working knowledge of HMRC guidelines and policies in relation to pay and benefits

·Excellent IT skills and experience of using HR systems and databases

·Team orientated with a flexible and adaptable approach

·Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with integrity and discretion
