Are you looking for a new opportunity or thinking about trying a different kind of work?
Supporting someone to maximise their potential and opportunities is one of the most rewarding things you can do with your life, and that is what we do at Scope. Values and attitude are more important to us than experience and full training is provided to all successful applicants.
At Scope, our mission is to drive social change so that disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. We want to achieve everyday equality and support disabled people to get the best start in life, live the life they choose and be financially secure.
As a Support Worker you can help us achieve our mission.
About the role
You'll work as part of a team to deliver high quality personalised services. The work will include travel between locations, providing personal care and working a rota to provide a service that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We value flexibility in our staff and expect you'll be available to work shifts that may include early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Staff need a good basic standard of spoken and written english and basic maths, as the job includes report writing and supporting people to manage their money.
We offer an excellent package of annual leave and the opportunity to develop your skills within a national organisation.
You must have a driving licence and your own transport.
Successful applicants for these posts will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
