We’re looking for a passionate, dedicated and driven Sous Chef to join the team at Hammer & Tongs, a South African Braai restaurant, where the entire menu is cooked over a wood fire. The braai is in an open kitchen so you get to enjoy the buzz of the restaurant.
What we’re looking for;
Someone able to work shifts, full time.
You must have Food Safety Level 2
Must have the ability to lead shifts
Will be required to place orders & control stock to maximize profit.
Maintain food standards to a very high level
Ensure all Hygiene standards are kept at a very high level
Will be required to assist in menu planning
Have the ability to train staff
