We have vacancies for Waking Nights Support Worker in our service in Oswestry, Shropshire.

About the role

MacIntyre supports a lady in her early 40s who loves football and is looking for fun, patient and resilient support workers to come and work on her team. You will be available during the night to provide physical support and emotional reassurance when she is wakeful; checking at regular intervals to ensure she is comfortable and getting a good night's sleep ready for the next day.

Sometimes personal care or medication may be required and she may display behaviours of concern when anxious.

The work can be demanding and doesn't suit everyone, but if it's right for you, you'll find it incredibly rewarding and valuable. We will provide you with full training and with day-to-day help and advice from your Head of Service.

What we need from you

Experience is not necessary, as we provide a full induction and free training programme, so this role is suitable for a trainee. People join us from many different backgrounds, it's more important to us that you have a positive approach and are willing to learn.
