A trusted and innovative property-related firm based in Edinburgh is looking for an experienced and multi-skilled Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis, three days per week.
This administration-based role involves the preparation of a variety of documents such as tenders, reports, letters and minutes and, therefore, speedy, accurate typing skills would be beneficial. You should also feel confident formatting fairly complex documents using Word and basic PowerPoint would be advantageous.
In addition, the team produces a high volume of financial reports, so it is essential that you possess a high intermediate level of Excel, with the ability to use basic formulae, create summaries, manipulate data and format spreadsheets suitable for presentations. This role is particularly well-suited to candidates with strong numerical skills and first-class attention to detail, as the checking of arithmetic calculations, plus proof-reading spelling and grammar will also be regularly required.
Based front-of-house, we are also looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, as you will meet and greet visitors and act as first point of contact on the phones. Flexibility is key and you should be happy to undertake general administrative tasks such as organising client lunches, filing and archiving, managing mail and ordering supplies.
