New opportunity not to be missed! SafeNet Domestic Abuse Service, part of The Calico Group has exciting positions available for a number of Refuge Assistants to join the team. We have various hours available and you will receive a competitive salary of £18, 207 per annum (pro rata for part time).
SafeNet Domestic Abuse Service provides a range of accommodation and community based support service to those at risk of domestic abuse. SafeNet deliver safe refuge and community based services to those at the highest level of risk of serious harm across Lancashire, and we welcome the opportunity to extend our services into various locations such as Burnley, Lancaster Blackpool, Preston and Rochdale.
The ideal Refuge Assistants will work as a member of the refuge accommodation teams providing access to emergency accommodation for women, men and children by providing concierge function. The premises are staffed 24/7 and the role includes providing practical housing and administration support, including health, safety and security measures in a supported housing environment.
As one of the Refuge Assistants, you will carry out tasks at the request of the Team Leader / SafeNet Leadership Team, to contribute effectively to the smooth running of the refuge and its projects both individually and as part of a team in accordance with SafeNet and Calico Group policies, procedures and guidelines.

Successful candidates will undertake a 4 day Induction Programme prior to starting employment. This Induction Programme is Mandatory and all new employees have to attend, the programme dates are 12th - 15th March 2018, 9.30am - 4.30pm. You will be paid a flat rate for attending these days.
