Our Client, based in Wakefield, are seeing a new Recruitment Advisor to join their creative team on a permanent basis.

This vacancy will be 3 days a week; between 22 and 25 hours per week. They are flexible on the working days.
Working hours are between 08:30 - 17:00

Working with the Head of HR, this role has particular responsibility for the recruitment function across Our Client’s Digital’s UK locations.
Responsible For:
• Researching, developing and implementing new and innovative ways to attract talent in line with Our Client’s medium and long term strategic plans
• Working closely with senior management to understand staffing needs and provide advice and guidance on all aspects of recruitment
• Assisting with the management and evaluation of candidate attraction strategies and methods to drive direct applicants to the Client’s website e.g. social media, job boards, networking, event attendance and employee referrals
• Proactive searching of the passive candidate market and approaching selected individuals
• Developing agency relationships, building, monitoring and evaluating agency relationships and negotiation of terms
• Assisting with the promotion of Our Client’s relationships with various Universities and exploring opportunities to collaborate locally and across the games industry to promote careers in games and the creative digital industries
• Working closely with the Marketing department to develop Our Client’s recruitment message and promotion of Our Client as an employer of choice via social media, advertising campaigns, Glassdoor, events and university activities
• Working with managers to ensure all candidates have a positive experience with Our Client at all stages of the recruitment process, even in busy times
• Providing periodic analysis and ad-hoc reporting of various recruitment and retention data to drive and evaluate recruitment activities
• Developing onboarding resources for new hires and often offering direct assistance in candidate relocations and sourcing new starter accommodation
• Writing copy for job ads, recruitment advertising literature, candidate attraction literature, onboarding and relocation advice/literature
• Keeping up to date with changing legislation that will affect recruitment; researching and advising on proposed changes to accommodate the recruitment process and approach
• Ad hoc recruitment and HR projects
Key skills:
• Experience dealing with full cycle recruitment for highly skilled/technical/creative roles in an in-house capacity
• Direct sourcing experience
• Experience of developing social media recruitment campaigns
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop and implement new processes
• Ability to communicate confidently, build relationships, influence and challenge when necessary
• Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with tight deadlines
• Ability to operate with diplomacy, tenacity and patience when dealing with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to solve problems creatively
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Confident presentation skills
• Experience of managing recruitment workflows via applicant tracking software
• Knowledge of the video game industry
• Experience dealing with international relocations requiring visa sponsorship
