Our client is a national training and development company looking for field-based Talent Coaches to work with apprentices in Hairdressing/Barbering. Roles are available in Gloucestershire, Birmingham/West Midlands, Liverpool, Surrey, Middlesex/S Bucks. You will plan, deliver and assess all components of the learner’s qualification and ensure that learners achieve their individual learning plans and 20% off the job training and have a positive experience during their work-based learning programme. All teaching, learning and assessment will take place where the learner is employed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Sign-up and induction
-Monitor learner progress through Onefile e-portfolio to ensure timely completion
-Develop resources as required
-Deliver and assess all elements of Functional Skills
-Deliver quality IAG and appropriate support, including learners with ALN and ASN, at all stages of the learner journey
-Maintain all records and paperwork to required company, ESFA and Ofsted standards
-Complete exit interviews
-Attend team meetings and training activities to maintain required CPD
-Maintain an appropriate caseload of learners by marketing within your area
-Attain KPIs
-Undertake training on Safeguarding and Prevent
-Comply with Safeguarding, Prevent and Equality & Diversity requirements and ensure the learner’s workplace complies
-Ensure the employer follows Health & Safety guidelines and procedures
-Manage own diary to ensure effective use of time

Candidate Requirements:
-Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing and/or Barbering
-Enhanced DBS check
-Ability to use own initiative
-Excellent organisation and planning skills
-Good timekeeping skills
-Knowledge of Ofsted and ESFA requirements
-Knowledge of standards and IQA requirements
-Car driver and use of own car

They are looking for full-time post holders but may consider part-time. Hours of work are 9-5 Monday-Friday but will need to be flexible to meet learners’ needs. They are initially offering a 6 month contract with a view to permanent with a salary of £21500 - £24000 per annum dependent on experience.
