Who are we ?

Clear Water Revival is leading the way in developing and marketing cutting edge chemical free natural swimming pool water filtration systems as an alternative to traditional chemical swimming pools.

There are two key sides to the business;

    On-going research & development into chemical free water filtration Turnkey design and construction of high end swimming pools and ponds across the UK.
We have won numerous innovation awards for our own chemical free swimming pool filtration technology. We currently work mainly the UK and occasionally overseas, providing end clients with products and services ranging from design consultancy and bio-filtration system supply, to full turn-key natural swimming pool design and technical construction services of chemical free swimming pools.

We are looking for a dynamic fun individual who is enthusiastic, passionate and fastidious about finance, and who enjoys working in a fast paced start up environment with a fun and highly motivated team.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic, efficient and responsible self-starter with a high attention to detail and a passion for numbers and rigorous financial control. Interest in Eco-technology, high growth business or swimming is also a bonus.

What does the role offer you?
The role offers significant career development potential in a high growth innovative eco-business with plans for international expansion over the next 18 months. We expect to complete a round 2 fund raise by Q2 2018 and in the longer term we aim to be exporting our technology in the EU, USA and Australia.

With its easy parking, cafe's / bars and onsite gym and sports facilities, UWE campus offers a great working environment. The role is both part time and flexible which will be very suitable for the right candidate. A generous holiday entitlement of 23 days per year pro-rata is offered from the outset raising to 25 after 2 years' service.

Key Activities:

    Management of purchase ledger Management of sales ledger Cash book & credit card entries & reconciliations Weekly bank reconciliations Preparation of monthly CIS returns & submissions Monthly payroll, pension & RTI submissions to include Offsetting CIS deductions incurred Verifying sub-contractors & all other aspects of CIS Creditor & debtor management reporting Maintain & make regular supplier payments Grant claims & R&D spend analysis Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns Preparing year end accounts for chartered accountant Monthly journal entries Management of initial design concept cost monitoring & invoicing. Monitoring PayPal & Amazon accounts & purchasing General data entry using QB Online General HR Tasks Such as monitoring employee’s holiday etc. General administration duties to support Managing Director & Project Manager Preparation and sending of invoices to clientsChasing of invoices overdueProduction of monthly management accounts and cash flow analysis using excelMaintaining P&L monthly projections using actual data from accounting system and sales pipeline projections Strategic creation and implementation of new financial processes and reports to support the progression of the businessOrdering of components for site builds and management of build project P&L and cashflows

Key Skills & Experience Required:

1. Extensive knowledge of Quick Books (and QB Online) or similar accounting package/s
2. Proficient in the use of excel and financial modelling / forecasting
3. Production of monthly management accounts and P&L forecasts
4. Good communication skills both verbal and written
5. Understanding of cash flow analysis and key financial metrics reporting with variance and forecasting
6. Organised, professional and diligent approach with "hands on" attitude

    Part time only, flexible working hours to a total of 3 days per week to start with. Note: You must be able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week on site.£28k Pro Rata.
