Role: Supported Housing Coordinator Salary: £20,217 - £21,856 Location: Kinghorn, Fife, KY3 9RZ Job type: Permanent/Full Time Job Ref: 0076 -0022 Closing Date: Tuesday 27th February 2018 Trust Housing Association Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Supported Housing Coordinator to join our team based at Kinghorn. Trust Housing Association is a national housing, support and care provider, offering a range of accommodation and support services. Primarily serving older people in our communities we also provide housing for families and individuals. We have over 2,500 households across the length and breadth of Scotland, from the Highlands and Islands all the way down to the Borders. In return for your enthusiasm and commitment as a Support Housing Coordinator we will offer you: - • Four point salary scale starting at £20,217 up to £21,856 per annum • Access to paid training & continued personal development As Supported Housing Coordinator, you will play a key role in the lives of our tenants. Promoting and supporting independent living, you will develop a professional and caring relationship with individuals, providing advice and assistance linked to their individual support plan. In addition you will build positive working relationships with colleagues in other agencies such as health care and social work. The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience in managing a service for vulnerable people, preferably older people, be able to demonstrate a clear empathy with tenants as well as being able to exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Management of the staff team is a key element of the role and experience in this area is essential. On a personal level, candidates should be well organised and approachable with excellent interpersonal skills. A professional qualification (SVQ level 3 or equivalent) is highly desirable. The Coordinator will work a 35 hours week Monday to Friday.
