Audit and Accounts Assistant - Flexible working
We are a professional firm of accountants with a significant portfolio of clients in the academies/education sector in and around Birmingham and we are looking for someone to supplement our academies audit and accountancy team. The role involves some travel in this area and working on site at our clients’ premises.
Candidates will have a minimum of 3-4 years accountancy experience gained in a professional accountant’s office, preferably with some audit and charity accounting background as well but not necessarily qualified. They must demonstrate their ability to prepare accounts and use Microsoft software, particularly Excel and Word and with good written English.
This is a client facing role and candidates must be well presented and able to engage with clients in a professional and courteous manner. The role would suit someone seeking to come back into the workplace around school hours but that and salary are negotiable based on experience.
