Administrative Officers (Fixed Term Appointment June-Sept 2018)
We are looking for enthusiastic people with strong communication skills to join us over the summer leave period. You will have excellent customer service and administrative skills and be ready to take up a role with us towards the end of June 2018 until September 2018. These roles are vital to the effective operation of the Courts, Tribunals and other offices within Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS).

You’ll work as part of a flexible team, carrying out a variety of administrative duties within HMCTS. You could be progressing cases through the court/tribunal system, which includes regular contact with the users of the courts or tribunals, including members of the Judiciary and the legal profession. Or working operationally, to help support serving court documents, executing a range of warrants or collecting fines and fees.
This really is a snapshot of the work you could be involved in and you will be, when required, expected to undertake a range of these duties. There may be a need to work on an ad hoc basis at other local HMCTS offices, but this will be discussed with you by your manager.
Computer literacy with knowledge of a range of IT applications is a must.

Selection process details
You will need to register your interest for this vacancy providing some basic personal information by 23:59 on 25th March 2018.
After submission of your application you will be invited to complete an online test (Verbal Reasoning) Please complete the online test as soon as possible (within 24-48 hours is recommended).
The test is taken online and we will send you an invitation and will provide full instructions on how to complete the test, for further guidance please refer to test guidance below.
If you pass this test you will be invited to complete your full application which must be submitted by 23:59 on 27th March 2018. Please note if your full application has not been submitted by this point it will not be considered.
As part of the application process you will be asked to complete a personal statement (1000 words max).

2. Tell us about a time when you successfully juggled several competing priorities. How did you ensure that you delivered everything that you wanted to?
