Accounts Administrator, Near Bury St Edmunds

Salary dependant on experience

Are you a motivated Accounts Administrator looking for a new challenge within a fast paced, reputable and professional company? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client based near to Bury St Edmunds. This role is offered on a part-time or full time basis , over 5 days Monday to Friday, with flexible hours. Working across various sides of the business, including with our client's portfolio of properties, both residential and commercial, you will deal with day to day accounts functions, to include:

  • Raising and sending invoices within a set time-scale
  • Monitoring incoming payments
  • Chasing debtors
  • Data-entry on to the accountancy system
  • Ensuring Property Meter readings are taken
  • Farm Accounts - to include sales of and purchasing various products
  • Keeping accurate records
  • Dealing with external and internal queries

The role will require you to work autonomously in a busy, deadline orientated office, therefore the successful candidate will come from a similar background and be able to pick up new processes quickly. You will have a flexible approach to your work; allowing you to take on additional duties where necessary, to support the general office function. Required skills and knowledge:

  • Experienced with the Sage Accounting package
  • IT literate, particularly with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confident and professional communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative
