Our client are looking for an experienced and talented Financial Controller to join their team asap on a temporary basis

This role is a part time role, 9.00am - 5.00pm for two days/week.

The key responsibilities for this role will be:
- Putting together financial reports and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, cash flow accounts books of prime entry and trial balances
- Maintain and put together financial data (nominal ledger accounts) etc
- Book keeping
- Completing / analysing paperwork
- Use various systems such as Sage,SAP, Quick books, Oracle, Excel, Microsoft Office, Iris
- Prepare final accounts
- Submit annual tax returns and tax computations
- Carry out company formations, preparing and submitting documents as appropriate
- Perform various administrative and accountancy ad hoc duties including drafting emails and letters

Qualification and Knowledge
- Relevant certification eg CIMA, ACCA
- Educated to degree level or by experience
- BSc/BA in accounting, finance or similar field (desirable)

Experience required
- Proven experience within a Management Accountant , Accounting Supervisor or similar role
- Substantial experience of working in a busy office
- Analytical mind with aptitude in Math
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A problem solver with attention to detail

Skills and Knowledge:
- Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
- Excellent knowledge or risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting
- Working knowledge of financial software and MS Office
- Some knowledge of the international security sector
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Solid understanding of statistical data analysis
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Thoroughness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in accounting software packages, like Sage Accounts, Sage Payroll & BrightPay

Our client will be conducting interviews w/c 19th February.
