Part Time Account Assistant

Job Description:
• General Accounts (working with the company’s Accountants)
• Customer invoicing
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable - including chasing invoice payments
• Purchase ledger
• VAT returns
• Payroll, including paying contractors
• Payroll - NI & tax
• Corporation Tax
• Bank reconciliation
• Telephone answering
• Liaising with the Accountant regarding salaries
• Document filing and expenses
• Preparing Year End accounts MD to check and submit accounts

Person specification:
• Accounts / booking-keeping experience essential, ideally using Sage 50
• Flexible approach to working required
• Scope to take on further responsibility if required

Additional Information:
Based in Dorking
£10.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Approx. 25 hours per week – must work on a Wednesday
