Our client is an Independent Insurance Broker which prides itself on offering their clients a service which is second to none. Specialising in arranging Insurance for Businesses, whether that be a sole-trader or a company employing 100+ staff – utilising the latest technology, they have access to most of the insurance market enabling them to compete with National Insurance Brokers whilst maintaining a personal service.
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (Part Time/Flexible Hours/Home Working all considered)
Salary: - £- £ basic plus bonus
Benefits: Company Pension after qualifying period and Mileage Allowance on offer
Hours: 9 until 5 Monday to Friday.
You would be dealing with enquiries coming in daily online and on the telephone; actively cross-selling to an existing database; using prospect lists and actively seeking prospects from your own sources. Are you self-motivated and driven to succeed?
Responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and developing new business
- Networking, canvassing and cold calling to engage with potential new customers
- Utilise a prospect database to track, monitor and secure opportunities
Skill and Requirements:
Someone with 2 years proven experience in General Insurance who either has experience in or is keen to progress to a sales environment who is able to demonstrate a strong understanding of business and have the ability to create, track and close sales opportunities.
Our office is located in Banstead, Surrey, SM7 and the preference is Full Time. However, consideration will be given to Part Time/Flexible hours and Home Working could be considered.
