Job Description

Relief International is a leading non-profit organisation working in 20 countries to relieve poverty, ensure well-being and advance dignity.  We specialise in fragile settings, responding to natural disasters, humanitarian crises and chronic poverty.

You will be supporting the UK Financial Controller to with the production of the financial accounting and reporting. Be responsible for the daily treasury, general ledger operations and balance sheet reconciliations. Review and process the grant agreements and ensure the funds are sent within appropriate time frames. As well as supporting other teams in the organisation with financial information as they required, including budgeting and forecasting.

Your experience will be gained in a complex finance function ideally within the international development non-profit sector.You will have an accountancy qualification (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) or actively studying towards it and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.  You will bring with a proven track record of working to tight deadlines and have experience with NetSuite or equivalent adaptive planning or other financial software. You will a bring strong attention to detail as well as the ability to manage a variety of financial activities.
