Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to work in a primary school near Haltwhistle, working 8.30-12.30, Monday to Friday. The role will involve providing 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD and Speech and Language Difficulties. The role could increase to full time after Easter.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have excellent ASD knowledge and understanding, with previous experience of supporting children on the spectrum, as well as having sound EYFS curriculum knowledge.

To be considered for the position of EYFS/SEN Teaching Assistant you must:

* Have experience supporting children in Early Years

* Hold a Level 3 or above qualification in childcare
* Have recent experience supporting children with Autism/SpLCN

* Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team

* Have a passion for identifying children’s varying needs and adapting your approach to match
