Our client is looking to recruit a Part Time temporary to permanent Retail & Web Sales Administrator.

Salary £7.50 - £8.00 DOE

You will be required to work 4 days per week to include Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (9.45am to 4.15pm) Saturday (9:45am to 2:15pm) including 1/2 hour unpaid break. Total working hours are 22 per week.

You will need to have some flexibility to cover holiday/days off for the other days if required. Requirement to work after hours for sales (approx. 2-4 times per year)

Role

This role is a job share - Working within a retail environment you will assist the Shop Supervisor on a Monday and Saturday only, at other times you will be working alone.

The purpose of the role - You will be responsible for the successful and smooth running of the trade counter and web sales whilst helping in maximising sales and maintaining all areas including stock, purchasing and cash handling.

Trade Counter:

Assist in developing and maximising sales through project work, forward planning, promotions, and sales events working in hand with shop supervisor.

Help drive awareness and sales by calling local companies to offer membership.

Provide a helpful, courteous and efficient service to all customers.

Be required to learn and become knowledgeable about our clients products to advise and assist customers. Replenish and display merchandise with accuracy and creativity.

Be responsible for cash handling and till procedures.

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation both in store and of personal appearance and hygiene.

Adhere to Health and Safety rules and procedures.

Maintain stock levels and accuracy including conducting stock takes. Carrying out other duties as and when deemed necessary.

Respond to customer enquiries and complaints efficiently. Carrying out other duties as and when deemed necessary.

Customer Service experience within a retail environment.

Excellent computer and keyboard skills. Good numerical ability.

Highly personable and good telephone manner.

Previous experience of promotions and marketing would be helpful Driven and confident to succeed
