LOCATION: Based at either Louth or Grantham sites, Lincolnshire (would need to be able to travel between when required)

JOB TITLE: Quality process Administrator/Technician

SALARY & BENEFITS: Circa £20,000 depending on experience-mileage petrol costs when travelling from base site to other sites

WORKING HOURS: Monday – Monday to Friday - 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (with half an hour unpaid lunch break)

We are pleased to be working with a very well established company that has been providing critical garment services within the UK for over 30 years, but has been established for over 100 years starting as a steam laundry. The company operates from 3 processing sites (Skegness, Grantham & Louth) and has over 300 employees today and offer their services across a range of industry sectors. The company is a market leader in the provision of clean garments to the food processing and manufacturing industries, and also offers consumables and PPE services, and they are a large supplier to the pharmaceuticals industry.

THE CANDIDATE: Quality process Administrator/Technician-Grantham or Louth sites Lincolnshire -base Negotiable

The successful applicant will come from a process driven or system driven background and we welcome candidates from roles in this background to apply (Governance, Banking, Police, etc.). A Full UK Driving Licence and use of their own vehicle will be required for this position, good IT skills and fluent English speaking and writing is essential, as well as self-motivation, good planning and recording skills and time management. The successful candidate must be confident and must possess excellent communication skills. You must also be willing to travel and work at any of our sites. Willingness to attend relevant training courses and events- an experience of ISO 9001 & experience in quality, environmental systems and health and safety would be advantageous but not essential

THE ROLE: Quality process Administrator/Technician-Grantham or Louth sites Lincolnshire -base Negotiable

Working closely with the Quality Manager and the Quality Assurance Officer, the Quality Technician will assist in coordinating the day to day onsite certificated activities. The Quality Technician will assist the Site Manager in monitoring, reporting and implementing activities in line with the requirements of the company standards and certifications.

The Quality Technician will act as the onsite primary liaison with management system certification bodies, and will act as the primary onsite quality department contact for customer driven queries for quality related matters, and will provide technical and quality related support and training throughout the company. Additionally, the Quality Technician will contribute to the administration of Health and Safety systems

Key responsibilities to include: Quality process Administrator/Technician-Grantham or Louth sites-base Negotiable

  • Being the main point of contact on site for customer-driven quality related matters.
  • Providing relevant onsite technical quality related support and training.
  • Assist in coordinating the onsite activities in relation to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 5000 and BS EN 14065 standards.
  • Reporting activities to Quality Manager or deputy ahead of management review meetings and on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with onsite customer and certification audits.
  • Establishing and maintaining relevant department documentation.
  • Conducting regular internal audits and external audits as required.
  • Encourage and facilitate the dissemination of the SKIE’s values throughout the business.
  • Publish and act upon appropriate departmental KPI’s.

Essential Criteria: Quality process Administrator/Technician-Grantham or Louth sites-base Negotiable

  • Experience in a processor system driven role essential
  • Experience in quality, environmental systems and health and safety would be advantageous.
  • Must have full driving licence and access to vehicle
  • Proficient IT skills, good level of spoken and written English, self-motivation, good time management skills, good planning and recording skills
