Head of Business Change - Defence Business Services
Defence Business Services (DBS) was formed on 4 July 2011, as a result of recommendations in Lord Levene's Defence Reform Report (2011) and the Grimstone Review, as a means of delivering corporate services across the Ministry of Defence (MOD) more effectively and efficiently. DBS as a collated organisation comprises some 2,200 people across 12 main sites with an annual budget of £160m.
The Head of Business Change is responsible, working with the CIO and COO, for leading DBS-wide change programmes. He/she will establish an enterprise programme management office to plan and deliver a wide range of business changes including digital transformation and estates rationalisation initiatives, in addition to evaluating and writing business cases on opportunities for future growth and expansion of DBS services.
