Vacancy description

Your duties will include:

  • Filing
  • Photocopying
  • Scanning
  • Ordering stationery
  • Shredding old documents
  • Getting invoices from Amazon for American Express
  • Sending out samples, media packs, brochures and packing/posting for dispatch
  • Entering orders onto database
  • Entering Invoices onto Sage Accounts database
  • Dealing with emails and responding to requests
  • Updating new leads raised from exhibitions and passing through to the relevant rep to follow up on
  • Dealing with all representatives orders/sample requests
  • Chasing up credit control and sending out statements
  • Handling complaints/queries on orders sent by email and in time by telephone
  • Looking up info on DPD if required
  • Processing credit card payments and updating sage accounts with payments
  • Lead raising for reps areas and reviewing act data base to see if customers still trading
  • Updating sage accounts with credit safe reference agency info sent in
  • Creating sales reports as required
  • Working week
    • Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm Total hours per week: 40.00

Essential qualifications

GCSE (or equivalent) English, Maths, and ICT grade C/4 or above.

Future prospects

One the apprentice has successfully completed their programme we anticipate that there will be a permanent position available.

Things to consider

The company is based on a former farm in a rural location where there is no public transport so you will need independent transport to get to work. There are no shops nearby so you will need to bring your own lunch.
