Team Leader - London - Healthcare

Our Pulse Nursing at Home division has a really exciting opportunity, for an experienced Care Coordinator, Case Manager, Community Nurse or someone with excellent clinical knowledge and experience within the complex care setting. Our division is seeking a Team Leader to join our successful and growing team in our London office.

Pulse at Home is a well established division within Pulse. Pulse at Home is a leading provider of nurses and Health Care Assistant (HCA) to UK and International Healthcare patients. We support NHS Trusts, Clinical Commissioning Groups and private patients by placing expert caring and compassionate staff with the patients we care for.

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for:
You will be working as part of a supportive team, and work closely with your Business Manager. You will be responsible for managing your own set of adult care packages, and working to the highest of standards, ensuring the risk assessments, care plans are thoroughly monitored and checked. You will build solid relationships with your clients and their families, and look to grow the business through developing on new opportunities. You will be actively reporting on your current and new care packages and working to our high standards and KPI’s set by the division. You will also deputies for the Business Manager, ensuring the team are fully supported and managed effectively, through an open and honest approach, encouraging mentoring, training and development,
You will also;

• Monitor patient care plans, risk assessments and ensure relevant paperwork and policies are a safe, effective service of care.
• Work as part of a close knit team, in reviewing processes and systems to ensure on-going, maximum fill rates and patient satisfaction at all times.
• Ensure that all documentation is robust and reviews are carried out within the agreed timeframes.
• Overseeing the monitoring of weekly and monthly package conversions in conjunction with the Business Manager.
• Providing client updates to team with Business Manager.
• Ensuring responses are maintained in an appropriate time period to maximize package numbers and ensure customer satisfaction
• Management and overachievement of individual and team KPIs
Team Management
• Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside the business and represents the business to relevant outside bodies and institutions and individuals
• Alongside the Business Manager and Bookings Team Lead, responsible for the supervision of the bookings team, delegating responsibilities where necessary taking into account the ability and workload of the individual concerned and their development needs. Review such delegation with Business Manager at regular intervals ensuring its effectiveness.
• Involvement with recruitment & selection for the team alongside Business Manager
Client Management/Business Development
• Ongoing management of current and potential packages
• Grow the number of adult and mental health packages supplied in to
• Review and monitor care packages in order to establish a fast, reliable, responsive service
• Build and maintain your client database, commercially thinking on where to develop new business, attend client meetings and to ensure a constant pipeline of clients
• Interfacing with NHS Managers, Private Sector, and Local Authorities, establishing productive relationships with these key client contacts

Are you:

• An experienced Care coordinator, Case Manager, a Community Nurse or have extensive clinical knowledge and experience?
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder?
• Confident, articulate and able to communicate on all levels?
• Highly motivated and organised?
• Able to work to KPI’s and deadlines?
• Able to work in a fast moving sector?
