My client is a successful, family run company based in Southport. They are looking to recruit in their payroll team on a part time basis, working across 5 days.
YOUR NEW ROLEReporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsibilities will include the accurate and timely process of the full weekly payroll, consisting of approx... 350 employees. Entering all payroll information onto Sageline50, recording holidays and calculating employee holiday accruals, recording absences and sicknesses, processing statutory entitlements including SSP, SMP, SPP, attachment of earnings, processing pension payments, handling payroll queries, dealing with new starters and leavers, sending wages information to Line Managers, ensuring payroll Excel files are kept up to date, dealing with HMRC correspondence and all associated administration duties.
WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED
You will have previous experience of working within a busy payroll department, and knowledge and experience of using Sage Payroll, you will have a good working knowledge of processing SSP, SMP, Tax, National Insurance and Auto Enrolment.
Hours of work are Monday, Tuesday & Friday 9am – 4pm, Wednesday 9am – 3pm and Thursday 9am – 2pm.
