Support Worker – Job Overview and Responsibilities
To engage proactively and work alongside patients and their families, carers and significant others to build positive working alliances.
Act at all times as a role model for patients and be actively involved in engaging patients in daily activities, educational programme, behavioural support programmes and leisure/recreational activities.
Ensure the consistent delivery of all assessment and treatment programmes.
Support the Charge Nurse, Nurses’ and Senior Support Workers with duties designated to them.
Represent the service in a professional manner.

Cawston Park Hospital is a private independent hospital based in Cawston in North Norfolk, near to the villages of Aylsham and Reepham.
The Hospital provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services. We have three main units which offer support in both locked and open rehabilitation. The units support people with learning disabilities who are experiencing distressed behaviour.
We have a number of single bespoke service provisions for people who find living with others difficult, together with flats where we support people to improve their independent skills prior to discharge.
As well as our Hospital in Cawston, we also have residential homes situated in Norwich, Cromer, Buxton, North Walsham, Fakenham and surrounding areas.
