One hundred years on from the birth of Fircroft College, its mission of 'social justice' is more relevant than ever. Fircroft is a thriving and ambitious College with a vast and diverse community of learners and a strong ethos.

We are looking to increase our team of hourly paid Learning Support Assistants who provide learning and pastoral support to students and assist with the student services department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the promotion of learner independence and motivation, whilst reviewing the effectiveness of support for specific learners.

The successful candidate will demonstrate good IT and communication skills, including customer service skills. You will need to have a flexible approach to working and be empathetic and solutions focussed.

The right person will be someone who enjoys working at a fast pace with a variety of different tasks, who is self-managed with a strong work ethic, who has a positive outlook and a 'can do' attitude and is a completer / finisher.

Benefits at Fircroft include free parking, free cooked lunch, free hot drinks, a relaxed, friendly and unique working environment, 6 acres of beautiful grounds, childcare voucher scheme, pension scheme and a passion for education, social justice and community improvement.
