The role:

The post holder will have responsibility for an overview of all child protection matters arising at the School and will support all other members of staff in relation to any safeguarding or child protection concerns that arise. They will also support the safety and welfare of our students as part of our Student Services’ team ensuring our welfare provision for students delivers the highest standards of care and support.

Working closely with the Vice Principal and other designated members of our extended Safeguarding and Student Services teams, we are seeking someone to ensure the highest levels of leadership and quality assurance for all of our child safeguarding agenda.

Shoreham Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children therefore all positions in the school will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS).

To comply with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, all prospective employees will be required to supply evidence of eligibility to work in the UK.

About you:

We are looking for a dedicated safeguarding professional to join our staff team to provide support, leadership and professional guidance for everyone at the Academy on all aspects of safeguarding and welfare for our children and young people.
