Programme Director Digital Passenger Services, Border Force Home Office
About the role:
The Digital Passenger Services Programme is a leading edge programme that is automating routine border transactions and developing and implementing schemes that reinforce border security, improving the border experience for travelers and is driving efficiencies and generating income for Border Force.
Set in the context of the Home Office and Border Force transformation agendas, the programme is enabling Border Force to meet elements of the departmental Spending Review commitments and crucially supporting the creation of a more tailored and modernized approach to border security.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a central part in shaping and leading the delivery of a challenging, large-scale programme that is central to the security of the UK and border management.
We are looking for someone with a significant track record of working to deliver complex change, with the ability to drive delivery across a large organization in line with key strategic objectives. You will be able to create an environment to deliver operational excellence, identifying the most cost-effective delivery models for public services.
If this is you, please see the job in more detail on the Civil Service Jobs site.
Closing date: Wednesday 11 April 2018.
