Boscolo Interior Design is seeking to employ a competent Accountants Assistant on a part-time basis, averaging between 2-3 hours a day, 3 times a week. 

  • Balancing accounts and general bookkeeping duties.
  • Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Ensuring invoices are compliant with HMRC
  • Checking company bank statements
  • Recording financial transactions 
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Completing tax forms
  • Managing profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Paying regular bills for the company
  • Maintaining company ledgers
  • Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
  • Assist in the preparation of the P&L sheets for the annual accounts
  • Ensure best practice procedures are in place and compliant with the FCA
  • Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits
  • Maintaining petty cash
  • Preparing information for auditors
  • Providing administrative and clerical support as needed
  • Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by management
  • Rental portfolio payments management
  • Rental portfolio Account Balance

Who we are looking for:

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • An ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Good computer skills 
  • To be honest, discreet and trustworthy
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Sage knowledge preferable. 
  • An ability to work to deadlines
  • Motivated, quick to learn, efficient and capable of working under pressure

Due to the hours allocated for this particular role, it will be suitable for someone who lives locally or can travel to Mill Hill, London
