Mumsnet is the UK’s biggest website for parents, and our purpose is to make their lives (and yours) much easier.
We’ve got some of the busiest forums in Europe, with users offering each other advice and support 24/7 (as well as more content, bloggers, videos, events and campaigns than you can shake a rattle at). We want to be indispensably useful for parents and a great place to work.
Mumsnet was conceived in early 2000 when JustineMumsnet embarked on a disastrous family holiday. Her idea was to create a website where parents could swap advice about not just holidays but all the other stuff parents talk about.
Eighteen years later and who'd have thought it would come to this? Mumsnet is now the UK’s biggest network for parents, with over 14 million unique visitors per month clocking up over 128 million page views.
Our aim is to:
- Make parents' lives easier by pooling knowledge, advice and support.
- We try, as far as possible to let the conversation flow and not to over-moderate. Mumsnet is a site for grown-ups.
